PlaycareToo! Early Childhood Centre is committed to the philosophy of Learning through Play.

Our philosophy

PlaycareToo! believes in the learning and developing of the whole child through play.

We believe in child-centred philosophy. The emerging interest and needs of the children are values, respected and built upon. It is believed that this approach fosters self-esteem, creativity and
confidence.

PlaycareToo! embraces an inclusive philosophy believing that participation in childhood activities, with peers, is a right of all children.

The 3-5 preschool aged children in the care at PlaycareToo! is designed to promote the development of secure attachments while providing flexibility to meet the individual needs of each child.

Our graduates

Children leave PlaycareToo! programs with the skills they need to succeed in school and life.
In surveys, kindergarten and first grade teachers report that PlaycareToo! graduates are enthusiastic learners who are socially and academically ready for the years ahead.

Our community

Our families come from nearby neighborhoods, creating a close-knit environment and strong parent partnerships. Whether we’re close to home or near the office, our center is ideal for busy working families and easy to get to – for pick-up and drop-off or to stop in for a visit.

We use fun, research-based, multi-sensory strategies to help children develop early learning skills, including Lively Letters, Open Court for phonics and literacy, Handwriting Without Tears, and Everyday Math. We use Responsive Classroom as the basis for our social and emotional learning curriculum throughout the school.
